A Look Back at Our Recent Mission Trip
Peru Ministry Update – Summer 2026
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
On behalf of One Life Missions, thank you for your faithful prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We recently returned from Peru and are excited to share what God accomplished through your partnership.
From June 11–20, our team had the privilege of serving alongside Pastor Michael Munoz Pina and Pastor Jhon Linares. Together, we traveled from Iquitos into remote villages, including Bella Vista, Lagarto Cocha, and Puerto Alegre.
These villages are accessible only by river travel and have limited access to medical care, biblical resources, and Gospel-centered ministry. Yet we found people eager to hear God's Word and thankful for the love of Christ shown through both word and deed.
What God Did
We are humbled and grateful to report the following ministry opportunities God provided during our trip:
Medical Ministry
Our medical team was able to evaluate and treat 180 patients throughout the villages we visited. Many of these individuals have little access to regular healthcare. Meeting physical needs opened doors to meaningful conversations and opportunities to share the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Gospel Outreach
Throughout the week, our team shared the Gospel with more than 200 people through personal conversations, village gatherings, children's ministry opportunities, and church services.
Salvations
The greatest blessing of all was seeing God draw people to Himself. During our time in the villages, 107 people prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. While only God knows every heart, we rejoice that many openly responded to the Gospel and expressed a desire to follow Christ.
As Jesus said:
"Lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest." (John 4:35)
Baptisms
One of the highlights of the trip was witnessing the public profession of faith of new believers. We had the joy of baptizing eight new followers of Christ, celebrating their obedience and commitment to walk with Him.

We had the blessing and privilege of sharing God's Word as we worshipped with our brothers and sisters at Mission Cristiana San Pablo. A special thank you to my good friend Lenin for translating.
